Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3–5 years within the property and casualty insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of catastrophe-exposed insurance markets including coastal wind, flood, wildfire, and surplus lines environments.
  • Experience leading both B2B and B2C marketing initiatives, particularly within insurance distribution and policyholder communications.
  • Proven expertise managing CRM platforms, marketing automation systems, analytics dashboards, and modern MarTech ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale marketing functions in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience driving measurable revenue growth, pipeline generation, and marketing performance through strategic campaigns.
  • Creative mindset with strong branding instincts and an eye for compelling design and messaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in remote work environments with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across agents, brokers, carrier partners, and policyholders.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support distribution growth, agent recruitment, and expansion into new geographic markets.
  • Build targeted campaigns and co-marketing programs tailored to independent agents, wholesale brokers, and specialty insurance distribution channels.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts including website strategy, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn presence, analytics, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Create compelling content such as thought leadership articles, market insights, catastrophe event communications, and sales enablement materials.
  • Translate complex underwriting, product, and market information into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with industry audiences.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to support strategic market positioning and expansion decisions.
  • Lead event and conference marketing strategies, maximizing brand visibility and relationship-building opportunities within the insurance ecosystem.
  • Manage and mentor a marketing team while overseeing external vendors, agency relationships, budgets, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Drive measurable pipeline growth, revenue generation, and marketing ROI through data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.
