Requirements
- Hands-on experience securing a production environment in AWS.
- Proficiency with AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and CloudTrail.
- Strong understanding of core AWS services like VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience with the full lifecycle of security incidents.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Ability to use AI tools for efficiency and decision-making.
- Global-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure, application logs, and security tools.
- Respond to security incidents including potential data breaches and application-layer attacks.
- Triage vulnerabilities reported via bug bounty programs.
- Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Automate security operations tasks using Python or Go.
- Configure and manage security tools like WAF, AWS GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Operationalize findings from SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Conduct threat modeling for new features.
