Requirements
- Expertise in Oracle Database and GoldenGate.
- Direct experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture.
- Knowledge of Central Objects and Business Data schemas.
- Proven ability to perform JDE Data Refreshes using RMAN or Data Pump.
- Understanding of JDE Object Configuration Manager (OCM) and schema mapping.
- Experience with JDE on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an advantage.
- Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Managed Services.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Databases supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
- Manage JDE-specific database schemas (System, Server Map, Data Dictionary, and Business Data).
- Perform JDE environment refreshes ensuring data consistency and OCM alignment.
- Optimize performance for JDE-specific workloads, focusing on UBEs and interactive application queries.
- Monitor and troubleshoot JDE-specific locking issues and temp tablespace growth.
- Design and implement GoldenGate for JDE data replication to ODS or data warehouses.
- Manage near-zero downtime migrations for JDE databases.
- Configure Extract/Replicate processes for JDE tables, handling unique constraints and LOB types.
- Monitor replication lag to ensure real-time reporting availability.
- Support JDE database migrations (On-prem to OCI/AWS/Azure) and implement Data Guard for HA.
