Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in GCP
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing services
- Experience in design, build, and deployment of cloud data pipelines
- Proficient in SQL (BigQuery) and NoSQL
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proficient in data modeling and database optimization
- Knowledge of orchestration and scheduling tools (Airflow)
- Experience with ETL/ELT data integration
- Knowledge of modern data transformation tools (DBT, Dataform)
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, model and develop GCP data ecosystem
- Gather, analyze, model, and document business/technical requirements
- Model data from various sources and technologies
- Troubleshoot and support complex and high impact problems
- Design and optimize data storage architectures including data lakes and data warehouses
- Implement partitioning, compression, and indexing techniques
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and tune queries
- Train and mentor less experienced data engineers
