Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Background in SaaS, technology, or high-growth startup environments
- Strong technical accounting and group consolidation experience
- Proven experience managing audits and multi-entity structures
- Deep understanding of SaaS revenue recognition
- Comfortable operating both strategically and being hands-on
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with finance systems (e.g., Campfire, NetSuite)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare consolidated group management accounts and board reporting
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with SaaS standards
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, and year-end accounts
- Maintain financial controls, policies, and compliance procedures
- Lead multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Oversee VAT, corporation tax, and R&D tax credits
- Improve financial systems, reporting automation, and operational workflows
- Drive process standardisation across entities
