Requirements
- J.D. or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading licensing and registration processes.
- Deep knowledge of AML/BSA regulations and MSB requirements.
- Experience managing MLROs or heads of compliance.
- Proven ability to operate risk-based compliance programs in complex environments.
- Expertise in KYB/KYC, EDD, and vendor management.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage with regulators.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead licensing and registration strategy across the Americas.
- Drive achievement of licenses and regulatory approvals.
- Manage relationships with regulators and licensing authorities.
- Design and improve risk-based compliance programs.
- Manage and provide leadership to regional MLROs and compliance staff.
- Ensure proper application of KYC/KYB, EDD, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee AML/BSA controls across the North America region.
- Partner with senior leadership on enterprise-wide risk strategy.
