Requirements
- Deep domain expertise in insurance and tax planning at an expert level.
- Demonstrated fluency in the regulatory, tax-code, and insurance-industry landscape.
- CFP certification is strongly preferred.
- Meaningful experience running a financial planning practice or working in a WealthTech company.
- Working knowledge of income and legacy planning concepts.
- Exceptional communication skills across written, verbal, and external-facing formats.
- Proven ability to translate complex planning concepts into simple, intuitive product experiences.
- Strong product strategy and prioritization skills with evidence-based decision making.
- Strong execution and delivery track record through the full product lifecycle.
- Experience managing and developing Product Owners or similar product team members.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Nitrogen's planning products: Tax, Income, Legacy, and Insurance.
- Drive the full product lifecycle including conceptualization, prioritization, execution, and go-to-market.
- Manage and develop Product Owners, setting clear expectations and ensuring high-quality execution.
- Represent Nitrogen externally as a domain authority in customer conversations, conferences, and media.
- Build and maintain continuous feedback loops with customers and industry experts.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Make evidence-based prioritization decisions and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Define and track success metrics for each product area.
