Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in ecommerce and shipping industry.
- 2+ years of experience working with cross border shipments.
- Broad knowledge of Ocean and Air consolidation, Small parcel, LTL, and Truckload requirements.
- Knowledge of intra Europe trade border requirements (e.g. EU to GB, NO, CH).
- Expertise in cross-border entry requirements.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Project Management/Engineering.
- Superior presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage carrier performance tracking and improvement initiatives.
- Manage a Carrier Analyst responsible for day-to-day execution.
- Identify coverage or service gaps and evaluate prospective carriers.
- Onboard new carriers and lanes including SOP development and rate negotiation.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in carrier package flows.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cross-border compliance and regulations.
- Maintain and improve standard operating procedures for carrier utilization and cost control.
- Identify gaps in shipment creation/tendering and partner with technical teams to ensure systems can execute.
- Support Cross-border sales leadership to meet merchant customer needs.
