Requirements

5-10 years of experience in ecommerce and shipping industry.
2+ years of experience working with cross border shipments.
Broad knowledge of Ocean and Air consolidation, Small parcel, LTL, and Truckload requirements.
Knowledge of intra Europe trade border requirements (e.g. EU to GB, NO, CH).
Expertise in cross-border entry requirements.
Project Management experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Project Management/Engineering.
Superior presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage carrier performance tracking and improvement initiatives.
Manage a Carrier Analyst responsible for day-to-day execution.
Identify coverage or service gaps and evaluate prospective carriers.
Onboard new carriers and lanes including SOP development and rate negotiation.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in carrier package flows.
Serve as the subject matter expert for cross-border compliance and regulations.
Maintain and improve standard operating procedures for carrier utilization and cost control.
Identify gaps in shipment creation/tendering and partner with technical teams to ensure systems can execute.
Support Cross-border sales leadership to meet merchant customer needs.
