Requirements
- 3+ years of dedicated revenue accounting experience with a strong command of the ASC 606 five-step model.
- Mastery of MS Excel including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex data modeling.
- Detail-oriented mindset capable of performing complex reconciliations.
- Experience with ERPs like NetSuite and CRMs like Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience within a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reviews of customer arrangements to evaluate and document revenue accounting treatment according to ASC 606.
- Execute month-end close procedures, including preparing revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Deal Desk to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and correctly set up.
- Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identifying manual workflows for automation.
- Assist in the preparation of revenue-related financial statement disclosures and support annual SSP assessments.
- Utilize advanced Excel techniques to manipulate large datasets for revenue reporting.
