Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, cybersecurity, compliance, or a related technology leadership role.
- Direct experience with CMMC implementation, CMMC readiness, or NIST SP 800-171 compliance.
- Experience developing, maintaining, or contributing to System Security Plans and POA&Ms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and federal security requirements.
- Experience securing Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar cloud-based environments.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint protection, network security, cloud security, and IT infrastructure best practices.
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into practical, actionable implementation steps.
- Strong project management, communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex initiatives, and lead implementation efforts with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
- Lead Broadway Ventures’ CMMC implementation, readiness, and ongoing compliance efforts.
- Oversee internal IT strategy, technology solutions, cybersecurity practices, and infrastructure improvements.
- Conduct gap assessments against CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and applicable federal cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop, update, and maintain the System Security Plan, Plan of Action and Milestones, policies, procedures, and supporting compliance documentation.
- Implement, document, and validate required security controls across systems, users, devices, networks, and cloud environments.
- Strengthen and secure IT infrastructure, including identity and access management, endpoint security, Microsoft 365/Azure, network security, and cloud-based systems.
- Evaluate current technology systems and recommend improvements to enhance security, efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Manage implementation timelines, task ownership, documentation requests, and evidence collection.
- Prepare the organization for CMMC assessments, audits, and ongoing compliance reviews.
- Serve as the primary technical and compliance lead to ensure Broadway Ventures is positioned to successfully achieve and maintain CMMC certification.
