Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare law, healthcare compliance, or regulated healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and HIPAA.
- Experience supporting audits, corrective action plans, investigations, and compliance risk assessments.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and operationalize them across business functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise compliance frameworks.
- Develop, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead and support audit activities including government, client, and internal audits.
- Manage corrective action plans (CAPs) from identification through resolution.
- Conduct regulatory research and provide guidance on federal and state healthcare requirements.
- Support privacy initiatives, HIPAA compliance, and investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into workflows.
- Assist in compliance risk assessments and reporting to governance committees.
