Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare law, healthcare compliance, or regulated healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and HIPAA.
  • Experience supporting audits, corrective action plans, investigations, and compliance risk assessments.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and operationalize them across business functions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise compliance frameworks.
  • Develop, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead and support audit activities including government, client, and internal audits.
  • Manage corrective action plans (CAPs) from identification through resolution.
  • Conduct regulatory research and provide guidance on federal and state healthcare requirements.
  • Support privacy initiatives, HIPAA compliance, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into workflows.
  • Assist in compliance risk assessments and reporting to governance committees.
