Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic account management, customer growth, or commercial leadership roles.
- Strong background in manufacturing environments, with contract manufacturing experience considered a strong advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of production planning, inventory control, material requirements planning, and operational processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and deliver revenue growth.
- Experience leading strategic sales initiatives and managing large business opportunities from prospecting through execution.
- Strong analytical, financial, and pricing management capabilities with excellent business judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced team environments while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-range growth strategies for assigned strategic accounts, driving consistent year-over-year revenue expansion.
- Build and strengthen executive-level customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and increase value-added revenue.
- Lead the creation, negotiation, review, and approval of commercial agreements, pricing structures, and contract documentation.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle, including pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, and sales execution.
- Oversee opportunity strategy planning and value proposition development to ensure competitive positioning and successful deal outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal operational and commercial teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.
- Monitor account performance, financial targets, and pricing objectives while ensuring profitable and sustainable customer growth.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting while contributing to broader strategic sales initiatives and organizational planning.
