Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security with deep expertise in network architecture.
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity.
- Deep experience securing Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery).
- Expertise in managing and tuning Cloudflare (WAF/Zero Trust) and CrowdStrike Falcon.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and Workato for orchestration.
- Working knowledge of HCL/Terraform, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and RegEx.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes (GKE) security, node pools, and Helm.
- Solid understanding of NIST RMF and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HITRUST, PCI DSS).
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and execution for the Cloudflare ecosystem including WAF, DDoS protection, and Cloudflare Workers.
- Lead security control design in GCP, specifically for Vertex AI, BigQuery, VPC Service Controls, and IAM.
- Architect and verify security for GKE environments, including container hardening and runtime policies.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and orchestrate workflows with Workato.
- Build custom Python API endpoints to expose internal security logic.
- Lead threat modeling for critical applications and feature releases.
- Mentor engineers on secure coding standards and cloud security.
- Lead technical response to security incidents using SQL/KQL.
- Conduct risk assessments for SOC2, HITRUST, and PCI DSS compliance.
