Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience within a CPA firm.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA.
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.
- Experience with UltraTax (preferred).
- Experience working with dental or healthcare clients (preferred).
- Ability to work in a self-driven, remote environment.
- Client-facing communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of 30-40 clients.
- Manage client relationships via email, Zoom, and phone.
- Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights.
- Oversee G/L activity and financial statement preparation.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure technical accuracy.
- Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns.
- Review transactional work and ensure monthly accounting activities remain on schedule.
