Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience within a CPA firm.
  • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.
  • Experience with UltraTax (preferred).
  • Experience working with dental or healthcare clients (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a self-driven, remote environment.
  • Client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of 30-40 clients.
  • Manage client relationships via email, Zoom, and phone.
  • Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights.
  • Oversee G/L activity and financial statement preparation.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns.
  • Review transactional work and ensure monthly accounting activities remain on schedule.
