Requirements
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling.
- 3+ years experience in a clinical or academic role within a NICU/PICU/CICU team or as a genetic counselor.
- Less than 2 years experience in an MSL or similar industry role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time within the assigned Western US region.
Responsibilities
- Represent GeneDx as the genomic and clinical expert to clinicians, hospitals, and academic institutions.
- Build relationships with regional key opinion leaders and key decision makers.
- Deliver scientific/clinical presentations on genomics and genetic testing.
- Support healthcare providers in implementing programs for pre-test counseling and test result interpretation.
- Gather and share client insights regarding regional needs and gaps in genomic services.
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure effective product knowledge and sales skills training.
- Spend time in the field with account executives for coaching and performance management.
- Direct execution of sales strategies and implementation of marketing plans.
