Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator.
- 2+ years of experience acting in a Branch Manager capacity.
- Experience in originating loans for sale to FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA and/or CDA.
- Experience using a mortgage loan management system (Encompass highly preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Market residential mortgage loan products to real estate agents and prospective homebuyers.
- Originate loan applications ensuring correct pricing and compliance with investor and federal/state regulations.
- Complete mortgage applications, including 1003 and related transaction documentation.
- Assist processors in securing documentation for loan approval.
- Stay current with agency (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, MHF) and investor guidelines.
- Maintain customer service expectations and manage applicant pipelines.
- Lead, manage, and coach staff including MLOs and operational team members.
- Conduct performance management reviews and assign work.
