Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Active state teaching license in WA, MI, or WV in Health & Physical Education grades 6-12
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
- Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom
- Confident and engaging on camera
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools
- Highly organized and self-directed
- Commitment to maintaining certification and staying current on K-12 curriculum
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work
- Maintain accurate records
- Build professional, proactive communication with students and families
- Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues
