Requirements
- At least one cycle in a field organizing management role (electoral campaign, paid canvassing, or allied organization).
- Proven experience managing professional relationships with partners, vendors, or external clients.
- Proactive communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Readiness to master Slack and Asana.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and adjust tactics in a field environment.
- Research mindset with an eagerness to learn research methods.
- Value-driven commitment to the voter contact space.
- Ability to travel to Detroit, Michigan, Toledo, Ohio, or Columbus, Ohio.
- Willingness to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily canvassing operations and ensure the tactic is being implemented effectively.
- Lead daily check-in meetings between VRAF staff and the canvassing team.
- Monitor canvassing and quality control data.
- Work with the data team and Field Director to identify trends and learnings and to ideate solutions.
- Deliver feedback to canvass firm leadership.
- Manage communication channels between the VRAF team, canvass firm leadership, and field staff.
- Manage logistics and reporting.
- Monitor progress to goal and ideate plans to increase program success.
- Contribute to written synthesis of project lessons.
- Fill in wherever is needed to execute the program.
