Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation and payroll taxes.
  • Knowledge of billing, invoicing, and ACH.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist.
  • Solid understanding of US Payroll Processing.
  • Solid experience with ADP.
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing, billing, and accounting systems.
  • Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Collaborate with customers and third-party institutions to resolve billing inconsistencies.
  • Create invoices and billing materials for customers.
  • Input payment history and financial data into accounts.
  • Track company financial statements and assist customers with payment solutions.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll updates including new hires and terminations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll/billing transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws.
  • Facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation.
