Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation and payroll taxes.
- Knowledge of billing, invoicing, and ACH.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist.
- Solid understanding of US Payroll Processing.
- Solid experience with ADP.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing, billing, and accounting systems.
- Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Collaborate with customers and third-party institutions to resolve billing inconsistencies.
- Create invoices and billing materials for customers.
- Input payment history and financial data into accounts.
- Track company financial statements and assist customers with payment solutions.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll updates including new hires and terminations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll/billing transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws.
- Facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation.
