Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Experience with software sales within life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
  • Experience with SaaS or document management solutions.
  • Documented contract sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and target potential clients within the target market segment.
  • Develop and execute outbound campaigns via phone, email, and social.
  • Engage with prospects to understand challenges and demonstrate platform value.
  • Manage sales pipeline from initial engagement to close.
  • Collaborate with Product team on features, roadmap, and customer onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools such as HubSpot, Tableau, or Salesforce.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations.
  • Report sales progress and performance metrics to leadership.
