Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and accrual accounting
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Ability to provide financial commentary for leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles within 5-7 business days
- Maintain general ledger and perform reconciliations across cash, AP/AR, and fixed assets
- Prepare P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Perform budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual variance analysis
- Prepare PBC schedules for external audits and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements and ERP optimizations
- Review and approve work completed by staff accountants and bookkeepers
- Mentor junior team members on accounting practices
