- Familiarity with compliance environments (KYC, AML, etc).
- Strong proficiency in OOP best practices.
- SQL/PostgreSQL expertise (modeling, migrations, optimization).
- Experience in scaling APIs and high-volume systems.
- Skilled in input validation, JWT, and queue-based systems.
- Ability to excel in remote, async, distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Frontend, Product, Design, and QA teams.
- Participate in full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Develop robust new features and improve APIs.
- Fix bugs at Deel Speed.
- Ensure high-quality, customer-centric engineering.
- Design and evolve systems for high-transaction volumes.
- Build native financial rails for payroll and treasury.
