Requirements

  • 7–10 years of regional or national sales experience in technical or industrial markets.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the HVAC or related industry.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute channel sales strategies with distributors, contractors, and representatives.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and multi-year account development.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales performance tools to manage pipelines and customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience handling complex contracts and pricing structures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret performance metrics and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies and annual operating plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead, manage, and develop sales teams, representatives, and channel partners to drive consistent market execution.
  • Identify, build, and expand sales channels, including onboarding new partners and optimizing existing relationships.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, promotional programs, and contract negotiations to support business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast accuracy to support business planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to shape go-to-market strategies and product direction.
  • Provide training, coaching, and technical support to enhance partner and customer understanding of solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and market positioning.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Supervise and support the Business Development Manager in achieving performance objectives.
