Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting operations experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a SaaS, subscription-based, or high-growth technology company.
- Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV) and ASC 606.
- Proven track record leading finance digital transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with cloud ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online).
- Experience with billing platforms like Stripe, Zuora, or Chargebee.
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Workato, or UiPath.
- Strong technical fluency with Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (Tableau, Looker).
- Ability to redesign manual processes into technology-driven scalable workflows.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations across AP, AR, General Ledger, and month-end close activities.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for multi-year SaaS contracts and marketplace fees.
- Monitor and report on key SaaS financial metrics including ARR, net revenue retention, and billings.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize finance operations via cloud systems and AI-enabled workflows.
- Identify and automate manual invoice processing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition calculations.
- Design and implement exception-based workflows to improve speed and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate financial systems with CRM, billing, and payment platforms.
- Develop dashboards to track subscription cohort performance and cash conversion cycles.
