Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time as a Controller or equivalent at a SaaS or recurring revenue business.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated experience managing international, multi-entity accounting operations.
- Proven track record of implementing AI tools to improve accounting workflows.
- Expert in financial modeling.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP.
- Strong communicator and business partner.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- CPA required.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close end-to-end, including the general ledger.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Lead AI-driven close acceleration by deploying automated reconciliations and AI-assisted variance analysis.
- Own end-to-end commissions accounting and ensure ASC 606 / 340-40 compliance.
- Lead all annual and interim audit projects and maintain SOX-compliant internal controls.
- Manage treasury operations, including liquidity, FX, and investment activity.
- Own the financial system stack (ERP, OTC, P2P) and drive its evolution.
- Define and enforce AI governance frameworks and act as internal subject matter expert on AI in accounting.
- Partner with the CFO and FP&A on predictive modeling and management reporting.
