Requirements
- An immigration lawyer licensed to practice in Germany
- Extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles
- In-depth understanding of immigration processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth environment is ideal
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
- Experience working remotely is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned cases through effective utilization of case management and billing systems
- Provide guidance for specific travel needs, counsel on the immigration process, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases
- Provide legal and strategic guidance on service delivery of immigration compliance to our clients
- Take ownership of senior-level escalations to support Mobility Specialists in all areas of work
- Assist leadership in the management of large projects
- Regularly monitor the Mobility dashboard and help channels to ensure SLA adherence
- Seek, control, and establish in-house immigration services
- Analyze, prepare and submit visa/work permit applications
- Mentor and support Mobility Specialists and Coordinators
- Independently maintain and monitor immigration law, ensuring ongoing compliance
