Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Engineering.
- 5-7+ years of experience in project engineering, development, procurement, and construction management.
- Experience in power generation, utility, or transmission industries.
- Technical knowledge of high-voltage substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.
- Proven experience leading projects from feasibility to construction.
- Understanding of project development elements like permitting, regulatory, and interconnection.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Project and Excel.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revu Bluebeam.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead technical deliverables for BESS project design, construction, and commissioning.
- Support EPC leadership on supplier and contractor management.
- Partner with Transmission and Interconnection teams on grid integration agreements.
- Assist in the issuance of RFQ/RFP packages to contractors and consultants.
- Manage project scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including developers, utilities, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits during construction phases (approx. 30% travel).
- Provide technical input for permitting and regulatory applications.
