Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in buying/selling high protein commodities or analyzing high protein dairy markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, modeling).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with dairy commodity markets (cheese, butter, NFDM/SMP, whey).
- Strong understanding of high protein whey or milk markets preferred.
- Proven ability to establish credibility and build trust with clients.
- Strong quantitative skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze high protein whey and milk markets.
- Track global supply/demand dynamics and price trends.
- Identify drivers impacting protein markets and develop price forecasts.
- Build and maintain analytical tools and models for forecasting.
- Develop and distribute monthly client-facing publications.
- Contribute written commentary and market outlooks.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry participants.
- Support sales and leadership in client engagement.
