Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware, software installation, support, or networking.
- Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on support for desktops and infrastructure.
- Extensive hardware knowledge (PCs, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Peripherals) in a Windows environment.
- Solid understanding of storage area networking technologies.
- Extensive software knowledge (Windows OS, Linux OS, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer).
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SCCM.
- Expertise in Active Directory and Exchange administration.
- Solid understanding of virtualization capabilities.
- Basic networking support knowledge (Cisco routers/switches, ASA firewalls, VLANs, VPN).
Responsibilities
- Research new technologies applicable to the Navitus environment.
- Research and maximize utilization of existing technologies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to perform Proof of Concept for promising solutions.
- Work with business teams to identify process improvements through technology.
- Analyze and design effective technical solutions for infrastructure and enterprise application projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate information system policies.
- Maintain knowledge in Infrastructure and Data Center operations and technology trends.
- Analyze and diagnose server-side application, operating system, and networking issues.
