Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive People Operations experience.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Deep expertise in US benefits administration.
  • Working knowledge of US federal and multi-state employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, PWFA).
  • Hands-on HRIS experience (e.g., Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR, HiBob, Workday).
  • Strong skills in data hygiene, reporting, and analytics.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Clear, empathetic communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Own US benefits end-to-end (renewals, carrier relationships, open enrollment).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all leaves of absence.
  • Maintain HRIS as the single source of truth for employee data.
  • Own employee handbook and compliance program across the US and India.
  • Manage compliance calendars including US filings and India statutory filings.
  • Partner with Finance and PEO/EOR providers on payroll and audits.
  • Build scalable processes for onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers.
  • Support performance cycles, compensation reviews, and organizational planning.
