Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or government relations.
- Strong knowledge of the Nordic region institutional, governmental, and defence ecosystems.
- Experience engaging with government agencies, defence organizations, and public institutions.
- Solid understanding of secure connectivity or satellite communications.
- Proven track record in developing strategic opportunities and positioning complex technology.
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder and politically sensitive environments.
- Strong experience in managing complex opportunity cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Military or defence institution background is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Map out and engage with relevant defence, governmental, institutional, industrial, and political entities.
- Evangelize Telesat Lightspeed to Governmental end users and decision makers.
- Influence long-term network strategy and connectivity requirements of potential users.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, procurement programs, and emerging defence connectivity needs.
- Coordinate engagement activities with local embassies and political stakeholders.
- Analyze local operational, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal solution engineering, product, and commercial teams.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and regional business development plans.
