Requirements

  • University degree in health sciences or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 3–5+ years of business development or sales experience within the CRO or healthcare services industry.
  • Proven track record of success in complex, consultative B2B sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of client relationship management and strategic account development.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required for client engagement and industry events.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across operational and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across assigned accounts within the North American market.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Design strategic account plans and sales strategies tailored to each customer opportunity.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, proposal development, client presentations, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, proposal teams, and project leadership to develop tailored solutions and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure smooth transition of secured business to operational teams, transferring key client knowledge and expectations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, proactively address concerns, and support change management or scope adjustments when required.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
