Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data governance.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview implementations.
- Strong background in metadata management, cataloging, and lineage.
- Proven experience leading enterprise data governance programs or client-facing consulting.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformations.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Working knowledge of Python for automation and data engineering.
- Ability to design governance structures such as data stewardship models.
- Strong communication skills with experience facilitating workshops.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementations.
- Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Conduct governance maturity assessments and define transformation roadmaps.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, dbt, and Alteryx.
- Design and optimize data architectures and models in Snowflake and Databricks.
- Ensure governance principles are embedded into all data pipelines.
- Develop Python-based automation and integrations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Lead client workshops to translate business needs into solutions.
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives like GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
