- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Computer science degree or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (PySpark, Python, Java)
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with data pipelines
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with microservices and messaging queues
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction in close alignment with product counterparts
- Build and manage a team of engineers to deliver scalable solutions
- Lead the team in building frameworks for high-performance financial data ingestion and distribution
- Transition AI-native products from prototype to scalable production services
- Advocate for standard methodologies and automation to improve throughput and latency
- Develop process controls and metrics to improve data quality and operational efficiency
