Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in engineering management or technical team leadership.
- Experience building/operating distributed systems or cloud-native infrastructure.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes/EKS, IaC, container orchestration, service networking).
- Experience establishing engineering standards (CI/CD, service templates, observability).
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineers.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team technical discussions.
- Pragmatic, service-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering teams covering infrastructure, developer experience, and shared libraries.
- Define and maintain the opinionated path for building and operating services.
- Deliver platform foundation milestones to unblock domain teams.
- Manage, hire, and develop engineers across platform teams.
- Coordinate cross-team requirements and platform prioritization.
- Review technical designs and participate in architecture discussions.
- Drive execution with clear milestones, deliverables, and accountability.
- Partner with domain engineering leaders to align platform strategy.
