Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive People Operations experience.
- Background in a fast-growing startup environment (scaling 150 to 350 employees).
- Proven experience managing a distributed or offshore operations team.
- Strong understanding of multi-state employment compliance and operational risk.
- Experience partnering with external vendors (payroll, benefits, EOR, immigration).
- High attention to detail regarding confidential employee data.
- Strong project management skills and ability to execute against deadlines.
- HRIS expertise and comfort driving process automation.
- Familiarity with immigration support processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a distributed offshore People Ops team and provide coaching.
- Establish workflows, quality standards, and SLAs for onboarding, payroll, and benefits.
- Drive HRIS data integrity, automation, and self-service to scale operations.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, tax withholding, and year-end reporting.
- Lead open enrollment and manage health and retirement programs.
- Manage EOR partnerships and contract updates.
- Own compliance calendar and lead audits for payroll and documentation.
- Coordinate immigration filings, visa tracking, and work authorization support.
