  • 7+ years of sales management experience.
  • Experience within the software or technology industry serving consumer goods or CPG manufacturers.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team of sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex and consultative sales cycles.
  • Ability to identify client pain points and craft tailored solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with Pre-Sales, Professional Services and Marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of seven quota-bearing professionals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback and support to help the team achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive the development and progression of the team's sales pipeline.
  • Provide key insights on win/loss rates, target coverage and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales on customer discoveries and product demonstrations.
  • Partner with Professional Services on statements of work (SOWs) and proposals.
  • Work with Marketing to shape targeted sales strategies, campaigns and go-to-market plans.
  • Oversee RFP submissions and sales campaigns across multiple teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and mid-management client stakeholders.
