Requirements
- 7+ years of sales management experience.
- Experience within the software or technology industry serving consumer goods or CPG manufacturers.
- Proven track record of leading and developing a team of sales professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex and consultative sales cycles.
- Ability to identify client pain points and craft tailored solutions.
- Experience collaborating with Pre-Sales, Professional Services and Marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of seven quota-bearing professionals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback and support to help the team achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Drive the development and progression of the team's sales pipeline.
- Provide key insights on win/loss rates, target coverage and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales on customer discoveries and product demonstrations.
- Partner with Professional Services on statements of work (SOWs) and proposals.
- Work with Marketing to shape targeted sales strategies, campaigns and go-to-market plans.
- Oversee RFP submissions and sales campaigns across multiple teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and mid-management client stakeholders.
