Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience creating developer-focused content (videos, tutorials, talks, or blogs).
- Strong developer empathy and ability to write and clearly explain code.
- Proven track record of generating compelling technical video ideas.
- Basic experience with video production techniques including filming, lighting, and sound.
- Experience working effectively with professional video production teams.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfort using analytics to improve content performance.
- Desired: Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
- Desired: Familiarity with OBS for screen capture, livestreams, or recordings.
- Desired: Experience with content planning tools like Airtable.
Responsibilities
- Grow and engage Twilio’s developer audience through long- and short-form video that educates and entertains.
- Develop concepts, outlines, and scripts for tutorials, explainers, and vlog- or vodcast-style pieces.
- Regularly appear on camera to present video content.
- Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Partner with Brand and Marketing teams for project briefing, feedback, and review.
- Publish and maintain content across developer channels such as YouTube and social platforms.
- Manage content production timelines and coordinate stakeholders.
- Utilize platform analytics to iterate on topics, formats, and storytelling.
