Requirements

  • Relevant degree/qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing Student Billing & Accounting software.
  • Experience with data conversion.
  • Experience with SaaS accounting implementations.
  • Understanding of general journal, chart of accounts, general ledger reporting, and fiscal year closing.
  • Knowledge of sub-ledger processing (AP, AR, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Highly organised with self-management skills.
  • Ability to learn complex, enterprise-level software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Accounting & Student Billing platform consulting and organizational change management.
  • Evaluate, demo, and revise platform transition setup options.
  • Orchestrate Business Office change management, configuration, and deployment.
  • Create documented models for Business Office workflows.
  • Develop implementation project plans in collaboration with Lead Project Managers.
  • Develop and orchestrate support handoffs.
  • Mentor clients in chart of accounts design.
  • Coach other Implementation Managers on accounting consulting proficiency.
  • Write and update internal best practice documentation.
  • Lead training engagements for complex accounting offices.
