Requirements

- Track record as a Technical Lead or Staff Engineer.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence technical direction and navigate tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Architect for scale: Lead the design and evolution of global media processing and delivery infrastructure.
- Accelerate product roadmap: Identify product opportunities to increase media consumption.
- Optimize media pipelines: Build and optimize resilient backend services for video/audio ingestion and transcoding.
- Drive AI integration: Build a roadmap supporting media recommendation and GenAI.
- Set the standard: Establish engineering best practices and define SLOs/SLAs.
- Mentorship & leadership: Guide and empower multiple engineering teams.
- Leverage modern tooling: Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate system design.
