Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or strategic account management within healthcare or healthcare-adjacent industries.
  • Extensive experience managing and expanding relationships with national and regional health plans.
  • Proven ability to influence executives and key business stakeholders.
  • Experience in upselling and retaining customers.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict management and negotiation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various internal and external constituents.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional project management skills and organization.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior leader and strategic business partner for some of Alma’s largest health plan partnerships.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with external health plan executives across network, clinical, product, sales and marketing.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic plans to exceed growth and retention targets.
  • Conduct regular business review meetings with health plan senior leaders.
  • Track the performance of partnerships, measure impact, and optimize strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Assess the competitive environment to drive retention and sales strategies.
  • Lead new initiatives to evolve health plan programs and negotiate resources.
  • Lead partnership presentations related to strategic planning and business results.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally to drive process improvement.
