Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or strategic account management within healthcare or healthcare-adjacent industries.
- Extensive experience managing and expanding relationships with national and regional health plans.
- Proven ability to influence executives and key business stakeholders.
- Experience in upselling and retaining customers.
- Demonstrated skills in conflict management and negotiation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various internal and external constituents.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong business acumen.
- Exceptional project management skills and organization.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior leader and strategic business partner for some of Alma’s largest health plan partnerships.
- Develop collaborative working relationships with external health plan executives across network, clinical, product, sales and marketing.
- Spearhead the development and execution of strategic plans to exceed growth and retention targets.
- Conduct regular business review meetings with health plan senior leaders.
- Track the performance of partnerships, measure impact, and optimize strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Assess the competitive environment to drive retention and sales strategies.
- Lead new initiatives to evolve health plan programs and negotiate resources.
- Lead partnership presentations related to strategic planning and business results.
- Advocate for customer needs internally to drive process improvement.
