Requirements
- Proven experience building and delivering low-latency, real-time data applications.
- Hands-on expertise with real-time/event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with in-stream processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark, Flink).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience building platform capabilities for other teams.
- Team-first mindset with a passion for mentoring.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex data engineering projects.
- Design and develop core components of our data platform.
- Build and scale real-time data pipelines for event delivery and enable Machine Learning.
- Embed best practices and governance into the Data Platform.
- Develop orchestration and automation capabilities to streamline data workflows.
- Own the estimation, planning, and execution of complex projects.
- Write well-tested, high-quality, and performant code.
- Mentor engineers on the team and conduct code reviews.
