Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong production experience in GCP and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Proficient in using AI tools to accelerate research and coding workflows.
- Strong automation skills, programming and scripting in Python and Typescript.
- Proven experience operating Kubernetes in production (Helm, ArgoCD, operators, Kustomize, networking, autoscaling, RBAC).
- Deep expertise in Terraform / OpenTofu and infrastructure-as-code.
- Hands-on experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud deployments.
- Solid understanding of cost modeling, tagging strategies, and FinOps techniques.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and containerization.
- Strong communication skills and habit of clear documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud (GKE) and other cloud environments.
- Build platform capabilities, internal developer portal (IDP) components, and self-service tooling.
- Design and build automations and infrastructure tooling with GitOps principles.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Argo Workflows, and GitHub Actions.
- Partner with engineering teams to define scalable infrastructure patterns and reusable modules.
- Monitor infrastructure spend and implement FinOps practices.
- Improve observability, alerting, SLOs, and runbooks.
- Implement cloud security, IAM design, and container security standards.
