Requirements

- At least 7 years working with financial services clients
- In-depth knowledge of Public Relations and the earned media space
- Understanding of how different channels can be applied to meet objectives
- Superb organizational and time management skills
- Ability to hold honest, tough conversations with client contacts
- Maintain a professional decorum at all times
- Ability to manage up and down to ensure team deadlines and goals are met

Responsibilities
- Proactively consult clients on integrated marketing and communications strategies
- Effectively manage account teams to service the scope of work with outcomes that meet and exceed client expectations
- Building strong relationships with clients to retain and grow a portfolio of accounts
- Leading and participating in all stages of new business pitches
- Counseling clients in one-to-one settings as a primary strategic partner
- Helping lead planning and strategy workshops with clients to map business/comms goals
- Mentoring and training junior team members, and identifying areas for growth and mentorship
- Overseeing and supporting programs and projects from kickoff through goal achievement
- Understanding and leading teams to apply traditional and emerging tactics and tools across the communications spectrum to execute client plans
