Requirements
- Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in career development, coaching, or professional counseling.
- Outstanding, executive-ready written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience developing relationships and providing guidance to adult learners or job seekers.
- Experience delivering career coaching in an entirely remote format.
- High level of technical proficiency and ability to adapt to new tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack.
- Strong local job-market knowledge in major Australian cities.
- Understanding of Australia’s vocational pathways (TAFE/VET).
- Familiarity with Australian hiring norms and job search channels like Seek and LinkedIn.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 coaching meetings with learners up to 6 hours per week.
- Offer 4-6 hours of office hours availability per week.
- Share regular weekly asynchronous updates and participate in bi-weekly pod meetings.
- Track and update learner job search progress and engagement status.
- Respond to all Slack and email communications within 24 hours.
- Provide resume and LinkedIn profile feedback via standardized rubrics.
