Requirements
- 3–5 years of product management experience.
- Experience shipping B2B or merchant-facing software at a fintech, marketplace, payments, or SaaS company.
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
- Experience with onboarding, dashboard/self-serve admin products, or payments and payouts.
- Working comfort with SQL.
- Ability to read code (GitLab).
- Proven track record of partnering with Sales and Business Development.
- Proficiency with AI tools as a daily workflow driver.
- Experience in BNPL, lending, or payments products is a strong plus.
- Ability to lead conversations with US- and Canada-based stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the full merchant-account surface including onboarding, authentication, dashboard, and payouts.
- Manage merchant sign-up, KYB collection, underwriting touchpoints, and activation.
- Oversee merchant authentication, SSO, session management, and account recovery.
- Maintain the merchant dashboard for reporting, settlements, and configuration.
- Coordinate payout scheduling, reconciliation, and dispute visibility.
- Develop the merchant-side roadmap through quarterly planning and prioritization.
- Use AI tools (Claude) for drafting PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze merchant funnel data, churn signals, and onboarding drop-offs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to optimize merchant acquisition.
- Translate engineering changes into product-ready language and document in Confluence/Jira.
