Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience.
  • Experience shipping B2B or merchant-facing software at a fintech, marketplace, payments, or SaaS company.
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Experience with onboarding, dashboard/self-serve admin products, or payments and payouts.
  • Working comfort with SQL.
  • Ability to read code (GitLab).
  • Proven track record of partnering with Sales and Business Development.
  • Proficiency with AI tools as a daily workflow driver.
  • Experience in BNPL, lending, or payments products is a strong plus.
  • Ability to lead conversations with US- and Canada-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full merchant-account surface including onboarding, authentication, dashboard, and payouts.
  • Manage merchant sign-up, KYB collection, underwriting touchpoints, and activation.
  • Oversee merchant authentication, SSO, session management, and account recovery.
  • Maintain the merchant dashboard for reporting, settlements, and configuration.
  • Coordinate payout scheduling, reconciliation, and dispute visibility.
  • Develop the merchant-side roadmap through quarterly planning and prioritization.
  • Use AI tools (Claude) for drafting PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze merchant funnel data, churn signals, and onboarding drop-offs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to optimize merchant acquisition.
  • Translate engineering changes into product-ready language and document in Confluence/Jira.
