Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field is required; MBA or advanced business degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in life sciences capital equipment or scientific sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong knowledge of biomarker discovery, proteomics, or related life science markets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and develop strategic customer relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and strong ability to manage forecasting, pipeline, and account planning activities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear business value.
- Highly self-motivated, independent, and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong business acumen with a customer-centric and long-term relationship-building mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory-based commercial strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets across academic, biotech, pharma, and government accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships while positioning advanced proteomics solutions and delivering impactful scientific presentations.
- Manage the full sales cycle in a complex B2B environment, including prospecting, pipeline development, forecasting, and deal closure.
- Leverage CRM tools to track activity, maintain accurate forecasting, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to communicate customer needs and influence product development and market strategy.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach and accelerate adoption of the technology.
- Support broader commercial team initiatives and contribute to the growth and scaling of the sales organization.
