Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within healthcare, medical devices, orthopaics, surgical technologies, or related industries.
  • Background in Medical, Physiotherapy, Data Science, or another health-related discipline is highly valued.
  • Tertiary qualification in a healthcare or science-related field with knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sales planning, customer relationship management, and business growth strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in collaborative team environments.
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure clinical or operating theatre environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in changing business conditions.
  • Confidence working with technical products, digital technologies, and innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute surgeon conversion initiatives aligned with digital surgery and smart surgery strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement strategic business development plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, surgeons, and internal stakeholders to support long-term business success.
  • Drive sales performance through effective planning, negotiation, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Support and motivate sales teams by demonstrating leadership, strategic thinking, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities to contribute to commercial decision-making and sales optimization.
  • Operate effectively in complex and evolving healthcare environments while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and patient outcomes.
