Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
- Experience in Market Access, Payer Account Management, or Access and Reimbursement.
- Capability to develop strategic account plans and oversee contract performance.
- Proven track record of success meeting business KPIs.
- Working knowledge of the formulary inclusion process.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Experience in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Proactively address patient access barriers including prior authorizations, appeals, and denials.
- Educate private practices and multi-specialty groups on reimbursement support, coverage, and coding.
- Ensure access barriers are minimized for appropriate patients.
- Deliver actionable information to billing staff and reimbursement teams regarding payor policies.
- Conduct regular practice reviews to understand utilization of reimbursement support services.
- Report payor trends to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Provide training on drug reimbursement processes, coding, and billing practices.
- Present insights and trends to commercial and executive leadership.
