Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Active state teaching license in Oregon, California, Virginia, and/or Colorado
- Mathematics endorsement for grades 6-12
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
- Comfortable with the demands of a live online classroom
- Engaging on-camera presence
- Ability to teach live for five or more consecutive hours per day
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and self-directed
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work
- Maintain accurate records to keep families informed
- Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication
- Collaborate with school partners and internal colleagues
